Leslie is a founder and chairman of Mkhabela Huntley Attorneys Inc (MHA). Leslie obtained both a B Iuris and LLB degrees from the University of Limpopo (Turfloop). He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1996. Following a five-year stint in one of the eminent law firms is South Africa, during 2001 Leslie went on to become one of the founding members of Mkhabela Huntley Attorneys Inc, as it is known today.
Leslie’s advice is constantly sought among large and medium size businesses in both the private and public sectors, and among industry regulators, high net worth individuals and eminent persons in the South African Society.
Leslie has also served in a numerous boards and other capacities, including as Chairman of the Limpopo Gambling Board and member of council of the National Film and Video Foundation. He presently serves on the boards of directors of both the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) and the China Africa Joint Arbitration Centre (CAJAC).
Leslie has served as a specialist examiner of the Law Society of Northern Provisions, member of the screening panel for candidate attorneys and instructor on the commercial law programme of the Black Lawyers Association and the International Senior Lawyers Programme.
Leslie has been recognised by Best Lawyers in the Dispute Resolution category.
